GradeQuick for Macintosh First Time Installation

To install GradeQuick:

1. GradeQuick for Windows should be installed first. Then, GradeQuick for Macintosh should be installed to the same network volume where you have installed GradeQuick for Windows, so that \GQWin and \GQMac are in the same location on the network. Make sure you have full network permissions to this directory before beginning the installation.
2. Download the GradeQuick installer.
3. Once downloaded, double-click Install GradeQuick 12 to begin the installation.
4. You will be asked for the location where you want to install GradeQuick. The installer will create a GQMac folder in the selected location. Therefore, you should select the volume/folder that is one level above GQWin so that a GQMac folder will be created in the same place as GQWin.
5. On each Macintosh workstation where GradeQuick will be used, create an alias to GradeQuick by highlighting the GradeQuick application (location in the GQMac folder) and selecting File > Make Alias. You can then drag the alias to the Macintosh desktop.
6. Run GradeQuick. You will be asked to enter the School Name and Activation Key. These can be found in the same letter and email from Jackson Software that contained the software download links.
7. Copy and paste the name and key into the dialog. If you are entering them by hand, they must be entered precisely as listed, and are case-sensitive.
8. Click OK.
