Active Teacher Indication of Attendance Completion
Administrators can require teachers to indicate attendance is complete with a new check box. If the administrator sets this requirement, attendance will only export for days marked as complete. The printed attendance chart also will not indicate a student present (p) for a day unless the teacher has marked attendance complete for that day. For schools using global exporting, this new feature enables the LiveLink attendance report to indicate which teachers did not complete and send attendance.
Transferring First Day of Class to Existing Gradebooks
Administrators can re-set the first day of class using SiteManager's Transfer Shared Options. This will eliminate the need for teachers to adjust the attendance date if it was not revised at the beginning of the school year. All attendance entered for days within the new attendance year are preserved.
Compatibility with Windows Vista
GradeQuick is compatible with the new operating system Vista. Function key operability will be released in an upcoming release.
Ability to Work in a Network Environment Using Deep Freeze
Administrators can specify the location where the client application will be created.
Single Term Only Reports Automatically Select the Current Term by Date
Users of Single Term Only reports no longer need to select the current term. The current term defined by term start dates is already selected when you enter the Print Preview.
Changes to GradeQuick Setup Wizard
The School.gbk file is automatically saved when the user clicks Finish at the end of the Wizard. During the setup process, information on several screens has been enhanced to help the user.
In particular, if users enter term start days that are not consistent with the first day of class, GradeQuick will warn the user.
