See for yourself why thousands of schools have chosen Edline’s website and portal solution to meet their online communication needs.
Edline offers web hosting, content management, information portals, and tools for classroom management, gradebook, notification, analytics, virtual storage and related technologies.
New technologies are making it possible for schools to increase parental involvement, raise student achievement, and transform their learning community.
“ The best part is that I don't have to remember to go looking for grades, when new grades are available, an email says so. All I have to do is log on and type in my screen name and password. Then I am either pleasantly surprised or rather annoyed.”

"This school year, parents of students at Bethel Park high school and Independence Middle School can tune in to their children's schedules using the Internet."
The district has subscribed to Edline, an online system that allows parents, district officials, teachers and students to keep track of team practices, cafeteria menus, tests and homework. Used with third-party software, it also can display student grades...
Parent Brenda Payseure, who said she was not particularly computer savvy, said she tried the system and found it to be easy and user-friendly.
"At the end of the day, a parent can ask their child, 'So how did the biology quiz go today?' or 'What do you think of the Mark Twain book you are reading in class?' This would produce positive interactive conversations instead of the typical 'What did you do in school today?' 'Nothing.' Or attempts at daily interrogation that just annoy everyone and end up lasting through, maybe, the second week of school," she said.
Jim Knapp, acting president of the Bethel Park Federation of Teachers, said it would take some time to educate the staff on the program but he sees it as a benefit to the district.
"It is a user-friendly program that does create a public relations victory between the administration, community and staff. I feel confident that the faculty will see the benefits of the Edline program," he said.
"I, myself, am a parent in the Trinity district, where Edline is used, and I love it."
Bethel Park school board voted 6-0 last week to approve the software subscription, ... Superintendent Thomas Knight said at the meeting there was no timetable for when the system would be up and running but that he hoped it would be going "as soon as we possibly can. ... Our goal is to implement it with accuracy."
"Quite frankly, we've waited too long," board member Charles Koch said. "I think it's time we jumped on this bandwagon. ... I think this is truly making the parents a partner."
Board member Daniel Duff suggested the district find some way to accommodate parents who do not have computers at home, possibly by having open computer labs at the school or working with the Bethel Park Public Library to help parents use the system there.
